What was the highlight of ibis Styles London Excel
It’s location. The meal in the restaurant on the evening of our arrival was nice, as was the variety offered.
Staff very rude when asked to fix soap depenser in the bathroom by my mother next door. Smell in bathroom, very basic, no iron in room, chairs in breakfast room uncomfortable.

Staff were very friendly and polite, room was very clean and fresh. Basic but all we needed, Close to where we wanted to be so suited us.
Breakfast was a bit of a nitemare, watered down orange juice and a bit too chaotic just as well it wasn't a hot breakfast. Had a piece of toast and cup of tea so was at least something. Thought the car park charge was a little steep but I guess the fact we were able to leave our car and feel that it was safe was a bonus.

Location excellent to attend Excel.
One had to step up to go to the bathroom and remember to step down on return or fall down. Should have been on the same level as the bedroom.

What was the highlight of ibis Styles London Excel
We booked the Ibis Styles as we were attending ours sons graduation at the Excel centre which was literally a few hundred yards away . The rooms were more than adequate for a few nights stay with air conditioning, clean sheets every day and very quiet thanks to great double glazing. The continental breakfast was served in a bright , spacious canteen style area on the first floor and even though the hotel was busy , the food was fresh and plentiful and the restaurant was spotless. The staff from reception to catering to room service all couldn’t have been nicer and particularly the Duty Manager on reception who went to the trouble of going online and printing off my boarding passes for our return flights when we had trouble with the airlines app . We would definitely stay again .
The bar in the hotel was a little drab and dull when we went in for a bottle of water but there is an excellent bar ( The Fox ) close by with a variety of restaurants in the same area . If you like Italian , go to Zero Sette two doors up from The Fox . Superb
